How To Store Avometer Avant Uric Acid Test Strip:

Keep in dry place at room temperature.

How To Use:

1. Insert strip

- Completely put the contact bar of the strip into the meter's test port.

- Automatically, the meter will activate.

2. Verify the code number

- Coding is not necessary for glucose tests

- Coding is needed for each new batch of Total Cholesterol or Uric Acid strips

- When you insert the Total Cholesterol or Uric Acid strip, a code number appears on the LCD screen. Verify that the code number matches the one on the strip vial.

3. Apply blood

- Using the lancing instrument, get a blood sample.

- Apply the blood to the test strip's sample inlet.

4. Read data

- The screen will display a countdown timer and the test result at a specified time interval.

- Utilize the ejector button to remove the used strip and deposit it in a biohazard waste container.
